We have fun with our food in our house. One of the girls favorite activities is to make pasta, rainbow pasta! It is like pasta play-doh that you can EAT! The blend their colors, use cookie cutters to make shapes or keep it simple with the spaghetti pasta maker. Making rainbow spaghetti becomes a challenge to see how long the “hair” can go without breaking. When the girls have friends over to the house, they always want to show their guests how to make pasta. And…an afterschool activity is born!
Getting crazy in the kitchen is what we do best: the kids will pick from various colored pasta, get creative, and learn how to make their own dinner. The Take-Away is not just fresh home made pasta and recipe card, but an afternoon of giggles, play, and new friends!
