At the end of my dead end street, there is an open space area with a meadow, a stream, and miles of woods. I went down there the other day to scavenge rocks for my garden bed’s border. While I was there, I saw this really cool stick, more like a weathered tree limb about 6 ft long. Yes, I admit it, my brain shifts ordinary stuff into eccentric projects. I could not stop thinking about that stick the whole time I carried rocks up the hill to my house. I had to go back…pictures were starting to pour into my head of what I needed to do with this stick and I knew I would get no peace until I finished the project.
I needed the stick to make a Money Tree.
I needed a visual to look at everyday of where I intended to move toward as well as anchoring in my mind that money flows from where I put my intention and attention. A few months ago, Lyn had asked me to read a book for my Homeplay: Busting Loose from the Money Game. In a nutshell, we have been conditioned to have certain limiting beliefs about money. Instead of limiting how you allow money to flow into your life, remove those limits and expand them. That does not mean sit on your butt and do nothing. It creates an awareness that “money” comes in different ways. By removing the stress or the attention to the lack, you are more prone to see a different sort of wealth gravitating toward you.
Taking a lesson from the Secret’s Law Of Attraction, I printed off blank checks, wrote them out to me and my business, filled in various $$ amounts, and signed the checks “Thank You.” Gratitude is a big part of keeping good positive energy flow. This is my visual focus when I wake up in the morning and before I go to sleep tonight. It keeps me moving and working so that I can begin “checking” off those checks as they start coming in.
I understand that’s a lot of Witchy Woo…maybe even for me. My brain gets split in two sometimes: The practical/logical side Vs. the “Manifest your Destiny” side. I have learned to be open to what comes my way. Very interesting doors appear and connect me with people I never would have thought possible. It is all about balance.
Ok, the video is a little goofy at certain parts, but you get the point:
